Breeding sound Australian Shepherds in body and mind. My Aussies are bred to work and come from some of the top working bred lines in North America. I breed for a good solid structure as I believe that any piece of equipment MUST be built to do the job it was created for and to last for a long time. Not only are my dogs well built, they are healthy and come with a good solid healthy guarantee against all genetic disease. Though I do not breed for the conformation ring, many of my dogs would do well in the show ring (though they are not always as fancy as many CKC and AKC judges would like). My family has been breeding Aussies, for farm work, since the early 1960’s and I got my first Aussie at the age of 12. Other than a brief break from the dogs, due to other commitments in life, I have devoted my life to the betterment of the working and all around Aussie. If you are looking for a dog that is built to last, as brains to do a job (sports, herding, tracking, running companion, etc…) than these dogs are bred to work for you. My dogs are easy to train, low keyed and wonderful family companions, but they must be mentally stimulated. Pups are farm raised and house and kennel broke as well as exposed to livestock at a young age. They are usually very accustom to traveling by the time they are ready to go as well, sometimes even accustomed to traveling on long overnight, even week long trips. All of my dogs are ASCA and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered, most are also AKC registered as well. The adults all have hips and eyes done and pups have eyes checked at 8 weeks. Vaccinations, etc. are all kept up to date as travel and socialized a lot.
